CASE STUDY · OUR OWN SYSTEM, IN PRODUCTION

fm.video: the channel that posts itself.

fm.video is our music-video platform: live radio airplay from 220+ stations, turned into continuous video channels. It is also our proof that the AI Video Creator skill works - because its entire social presence is generated from data and posted on timers. Several videos a day on TikTok and YouTube Shorts. A weekly grid on Facebook and Instagram. Nobody edits. Nobody schedules. Nobody forgets.

FM.video - Listen. Watch. Discover. Create. We scrape the world's radio and turn the stations into ad-free music video channels.

Why we built it this way

Hand-editing was never going to feed four platforms.

Short-form video is where music discovery happens, and we sat on the ingredients: live airplay charts (taste), matched clips (media), and brand guidelines encoded as code (consistency). The options were hand-editing every post - unsustainable for any small team - or generic AI video tools with no brand control and no data moat. We built the third option: generate the video from the data, through templates that are the brand. The marginal cost of a reel is near zero, and a brand-new format is one conversation with Clawdia.

Data in. Video out. Every day.

01
Live data in
A scraper polls 220+ radio stations across a dozen countries on a 60-second loop and writes every play to Postgres. The rolling 24-hour chart is the trend source - what's genuinely hot right now, from real airplay.
02
Media matched
A matcher attaches the best official YouTube video to every song through the official Data API - licensed sources, no scraping.
03
Rendered on brand
A reel factory renders 9:16 video through branded React templates - top tens, scroll feeds, beat flicks, visualisers, showreels. The brand system is encoded in the templates, so every render is on-brand by construction.
04
One hero reel a day
Every morning at 6:00 a themed hero reel renders off a weekly calendar with a no-repeat rule - no format runs twice in a week.
05
Posted per platform
By 7:00 the TikTok queue is filled; the Shorts batch schedules at 9:00; the FB/IG slot decides still-or-video and posts through HighLevel. Fifteen timers run the whole operation.
06
Library compounds
Every render is kept in a browsable library and reused across promos, spotlights and evergreen slots. The asset base only grows.

The cadence system

Four platforms. Four calendars. Zero hands.

TIKTOK
2-3 posts a day, every day
A dedicated queue fills jittered daily slots (±40 min, seeded by date so it never looks cron-stamped). Evergreen picks come from a curated showcase, with a 14-day no-repeat rule. Friday's 4:20 post pins to 4:20pm exactly - because the time is the joke.
YOUTUBE SHORTS
A daily batch, spread across the day
Reels are already native Shorts: 1080×1920, under 60 seconds. One run each morning schedules the day's batch through the official YouTube Data API with spaced publish times, same no-repeat rule as TikTok.
FACEBOOK + INSTAGRAM
One post a day on a weekly grid
Follower feeds punish flooding, so FB/IG get a planned weekly grid - around eight posts a week with a four-hour floor between them - alternating still cards with the day's hero reel, posted through HighLevel.
THE INSIGHT
One cadence number cannot fit every platform
TikTok's For You page distributes each video independently, so same-day posts don't cannibalise each other. Follower feeds work the opposite way. So every platform gets its own lane, its own calendar and its own ceiling.
A day in the life of the poster

This all happened before you finished breakfast.

06:00The day's hero reel renders off the weekly calendar - a top ten, a scroll feed, a visualiser - whatever the no-repeat rule says is next.
06:40The TikTok queue fills its jittered slots for the day from the fresh render and the evergreen showcase.
06:50The FB/IG slot checks the alternation calendar: still-card day or video day, then posts through HighLevel.
09:00The YouTube Shorts batch schedules, with publish times spread across the day so the channel looks alive, not automated.
17:19A fresh video clip renders for tomorrow's pool, disk-guarded, one clip per run.
Fri 16:20The 4:20 anthem posts at 4:20pm exactly. Some things you don't jitter.

Full disclosure

fm.video is ours - and that’s the point.

fm.video is an internal Growth Spurt project, built to prove - on our own money and our own brand - how we build with AI. The platform was rebuilt from spec in a single day of AI-first development, and it ships the same way it posts: continuously. Blue/green promotions deploy with zero downtime and instant rollback, a monitor checks the whole site every two minutes and heals itself, and the edge serves stale from cache if the origin ever blinks. The same AI development team - Aiva’s Clawdia - writes the features, the fixes and the new reel formats. When we say a new video format is “one conversation”, that is a literal description of our CI/CD process, not a metaphor.

Now swap the data source

fm.video runs on airplay charts. Your version runs on your store.

The engine doesn’t care whether the data is songs or SKUs. Anything live in your store can drive a video format that renders and posts itself:

Bestseller top tens
Your own sales chart, rendered weekly as a countdown reel - the same format as fm.video's airplay top ten.
Back-in-stock drops
A restock event triggers a render: the product, the price, the "it's back" sting, posted within the hour.
Price-drop flicks
Sale price changes become fast-cut promo clips across your catalogue - no editor in the loop.
New-arrival showreels
Every new collection gets an automatic launch reel from its product imagery.
Review spotlights
Verified reviews become quote-card video - social proof that produces itself.
Seasonal calendars
A weekly themed calendar with no-repeat rules, so the feed stays varied without anyone planning it.

Your data is already making decisions.
Let it make videos.

The AI Video Creator skill brings the fm.video engine to your store: branded templates, per-platform cadence, and a video library that compounds while you sleep.
